"Where good Ideas come from"-Steven Johnson Reflection
I agree with the narrator on the fact that good ideas take time to develop. An idea cannot just come from the gathering of information in one person's mind. It takes more than one individual and the investigation of one or more events to reach the most effective solution. Because of this, technological advancement has become better. The products and ideas from the past, are now being modified today, and the ones in our time will be passed on to the future to create something even better. It is a cycle that involves the network of people and events to create the "big" idea, so we will expect that future generations will have it better than us.
There's an app for that: "Matt Mills: Image recognition that triggers augmented reality"
The app demonstration was very interesting to watch because it shows how much technology has advanced. It is able to pick up videos by simply turning the camera to an object of choice, which is a way for individuals to have more background information/ be more open to what is going on around them. I cannot imagine what other application exist out there, but to my knowledge, there's pretty much an app for anything. One of the most useful apps for me is the DART app. It helps me get to places i need to go by providing exact times and which train/bus to take. It is not my favorite, but definitively useful to manage my time.

"Sight" video and web page progress reflection
The "Sight" video was very interesting to watch due to the mind reading, and how and individual's life is a complete game. I believed if that was to exist, it would be difficult to maintain one's privacy. It would be something we might get used to, but we would never know if we are playing a game with one another or being serious, just as it happened on the dating portion of the video. It is amazing how technology or even someone's imagination could go that far, but I would not approve of having that type of vision in the future.
My progress in creating web pages is good. I have learned to tell good and bad apart, do simple coding for headings and fonts, modify borders, and use resources and software for assistance in design and colors. As for the information I will put in my web page, there is a long way to go. I have collected about 12-14 resources, but have not planned what the exact content of my web page will be. My goal for this upcoming week will be to make progress towards organizing information and collecting pictures.

Creating Web Pages and Walking on Air Reflection
The video, "Walking on Air," was something very amazing to watch, because it shows a different view of Earth that we cannot see on a daily basis. Decades ago it was not possible to observe what was really surrounding us. Predictions were being made, but now because of so many technological advancements those can be proved to be either true or false.
Learning how to change the format and some code to create a web page was something brand new for me. I have always been interested in learning how a web page is made. I have experience with coding, but for C++ and I am currently taking a course for Java, but it falls into a completely different category from what we are covering in this course. I feel that creating a web page will be fairly simple thanks to the templates already provided and the software that will allow us to code the least possible. I am really looking forward to learning more about web pages and all there is to come in this course.
